Salon practice & school partnerships
PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE
Learn in Tijana Ilic’s salon through its Erasmus partnership with Slovenia’s Secondary Hairdressing School.
The internationally recognised, award-winning artist welcomes young talent from the region for intensive education. Students refine their skills in the working environment of one of the Balkans’ respected salons, gaining direct experience alongside an established professional.

OUR SLOVENIAN PARTNERSHIP
The partnership with Slovenia’s Secondary Hairdressing School began in 2021, when its first student chose a six-month internship with Tijana in Belgrade, as Serbia joined the Erasmus programme.
Working under her mentorship developed his technical skills and understanding of hair as an art. His successful internship and subsequent progress inspired new students to follow. Recognising the quality of this experience, the school established a continuing partnership, with placements twice a year.

INSIDE THE PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE
With Tijana’s continuous guidance, students experience the full working process of a leading salon, combining cutting, blow-drying and styling with the business skills behind a professional service.
- Creativity: develop a personal approach and translate each client’s wishes into a hairstyle.
- Client care: practise introductions, consultations and service, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout.
- Organisation: plan appointments, manage time, prepare services and coordinate teamwork with client expectations.

CONTINUOUS DEVELOPMENT
Professional practice is a process of daily improvement. Every group works with real clients in a working salon, meets new challenges and develops its skills with Tijana’s support.
This approach reflects the Club of Hairdressing Artists: preserve tradition, create new trends and learn through practice, observing every movement of an experienced mentor. Continuous education is the foundation of professionalism and progress.

BELGRADE & SWEDEN PARTNERSHIPS
Tijana's work and methodology also attracted the attention of the Secondary School for Hairstyling from Belgrade, which chose her salon as an exclusive place for student exchange with Sweden. Within this program, two students from Sweden also had the opportunity to improve their hairdressing skills through the mentorship of Tijana Ilic and her team, as well as to learn how to become part of the global hairdressing community.

PRACTICE BUILDS PROFESSIONALS
The Slovenian school partnership and international collaborations make Tijana’s salon a place for young hairdressing talent to develop.
Students refine technical skills alongside organisation, client communication, documenting their work and online promotion. Tijana treats each student as an artist, supports their creativity and promotes their talent to encourage continued growth.
At completion, students receive a certificate confirming their professional practice under the mentorship of Serbia’s award-winning hairdresser.
