TIJANA ILIC & DJUKA IVANOVIC
Djuka encouraged Tijana to revive the former Club of Hairdressing Artists from the time of Yugoslavia, an association that celebrates the art of hairdressing, nurtures the tradition of the old craft and encourages new generations of hairdressers to constantly learn, grow and develop their mastery through practice in the salon.
MEET DjUKA IVANOVIC
Djuka’s career spans over half a century. In 1976, her team placed second at a world competition in Paris. Her imaginative work helped define avant-garde hair in former Yugoslavia and Serbia.
Respected across the industry, she has collaborated with music and film stars, models, photographers, fashion houses, brands, magazines and events. Her honours include best-hairstyle awards at Belgrade Fashion Week and Serbia Fashion Week.
As she approaches the end of her career, Djuka shares her knowledge with younger colleagues, inspiring them to bring their own ideas to life.
