TIJANA ILIC & THOMAS GIRARD
This haircutting masterclass combined Thomas’s innovative French trends for spring/summer 2023 with Tijana’s signature short-cut techniques, helping participants refresh their work and offer modern shapes.
Special guests included Serbia’s women’s basketball players and national team head coach Marina Maljkovic, whose hair Thomas cut live for the audience.
THOMAS GIRARD — FRANCE
A prominent Parisian hairdresser at Galeries Lafayette, Thomas cuts exclusively on dry hair. His approach respects each person’s authenticity, creating flattering shapes that need little daily maintenance.
During the pandemic, he helped people cut their own hair over Zoom, then continued sharing advice on YouTube.
His mentor was his father, Philippe Girard, a close associate of Jean Marc Maniatis. Thomas continues that tradition by mentoring young hairdressers, encouraging creativity without rigid rules.
